This magnificent example of a Holland & Holland Deluxe Model, SxS, single trigger game gun, in 28 bore, completed in 1992, appears to be only lightly used.
Its magnificently figured walnut stock is without flaw and held within is a beautifully engraved case color hardened action, with hand detachable locks.
Makers name and cocking indicators on both sides are in gold.
The 27″ barrels with concave rib and makers name in gold, are choked .009 & .016, (Improved Cylinder / Improved Modified or ½ & ¼ ).
A good LOP of 15″to a checkered butt, with a normal cast of 1/8″ off for a righthanded shot, the drop is a normal 1 1/2″ at comb, 2 1/4″ at heel.
This example has been for many years under the care of one of our most particular clients, therefore, throughout our inspection of this fine sporting firearm
the only real blemish to be found, was the faintest of scratches to the bluing on the left barrel near the breech.
