This Beautiful A&S Excalibur, chambered in 20 Gauge shows testament to the quality and craftsmanship that these fine Italian gunmakers have been providing since 1967. The receiver is beautifully hand engraved by “Inc. Alberto Sasolini” and shows practically no wear. The barrels are in very good condition, with only a few cabinet marks as the only sign of wear, though the monoblock shows some discoloration as it is a different alloy from the rest of the barrel assembly. The stocks show the greatest wear and some alteration. Both the forend and buttstock show mild handling marks across their beautifully figured surface and it would appear that although the shotgun was originally stocked right handed, it has been bent cast on for left handed use with the toe still cast off. This twist that was added later in the firearms life appears to have loosened the heading slightly, which has caused a faint crack to firm at the end of the lower tang.
