The Browning Auto 5 was the first commercially successful, mass produced, semi automatic shotgun. It was designed by John Moses Browning in 1898 and patented in 1900, making it continuously produced in one form or another for almost 100 years. This example of a light frame A5 made in 1954 is in excellent overall condition, somehow escaping most of the wear that others have seen over the years.
