The Colt Model of 1849 “Pocket” was a direct improvement of the “Baby Dragoon”, lacking the square back trigger guard and round cylinder stops while adding the loading lever. The London model was a series of approximately 1100 made in Colt’s new plant in England, bearing English proofs. Overall, these were the most widely produced of any of Colt’s percussion revolvers. This London model is frankly in outstanding overall condition, aside from a few dents and dings, it still retains an incredible amount of its original bluing and color case hardening. The action also functions flawlessly, with good timing and very positive clicks to the sears. This pistol also comes with an original case and accessories.
