This Competition Rifle Clinic is designed for Precision Rifle Series (PRS) competitors seeking focused, hands-on preparation for match environments. Conducted on our 900-yard rifle range, this half-day clinic emphasizes practical stage work, positional shooting, and data validation under realistic conditions. Participants will confirm ballistic data, refine stage execution, and receive targeted coaching to improve consistency and confidence.
The clinic fosters a collaborative learning environment where shooters spot for one another, share ballistic insights, and engage in guided discussions to consolidate learning. Instructors act as on-range coaches observing, correcting, and facilitating applied skill development rather than lecturing.
Course Objectives
By the end of this clinic, participants will:
- Validate rifle ballistic data through chronograph and live-fire confirmation
- Demonstrate proficiency in positional shooting (barricade, prone, tripod, and improvised props)
- Apply effective stage planning and time management under match-style conditions
- Collaborate with peers through spotting, data sharing, and feedback
- Identify and address personal performance gaps through individualized coaching
Prerequisites
- Completion of Adv. Precision Rifle (or equivalent experience)
- Familiarity with MOA/MIL adjustments and ballistic solvers
- Zeroed rifle required prior to start of clinic (we will include time to confirm zero)
- Working understanding of fundamental marksmanship and range safety
Requirements
- Precision rifle with optic capable of 1 MOA or better
- 140 rounds of match-grade ammunition
- Bipod
- Ballistic solver (e.g., Kestrel, Garmin, AB, or app-based)
- Notebook and pen for data recording
- Eye and ear protection

$360 per person (plus applicable NJ sales tax). Must be 18 or over to attend.
Dress code: no t-shirts, blue jeans or open-toed shoes please.
Cancellation Policy: Must contact us to cancel 10 days prior to class to receive full refund, or 72 hours prior to class to receive a 50% refund (minus credit card processing fees and applicable NJ sales tax). Any cancellations made less than 72 hours before the class date cannot be refunded.
