The style of our custom sporting rifles has changed very little since Seymour Griffin and James Howe joined forces to meet the needs of discriminating sportsman. This rifle is made on a 1950 production Model 70 Magnum action. The work on this gun was done in 1962, according to the barrel number, however like many rifles of this kind, there is often a number of modifications over the years. As such, this rifle is wearing both a set of quarter rib express sights and a Lyman peep. This rifle has also recently been equipped with a more modern Zeiss DiaVari optic in a side mount. Overall condition is excellent, with practically no wear aside from some cabinet marks on the stock. It must be noted that the lyman sight is missing its slide.
