The Smith & Wesson Safety Hammerless, sometimes called the “lemon Squeezer” by collectors, was a relatively advanced defensive pistol developed in the late 1880’s and incorporated distinct safety features such as a grip safety and shrouded hammer. This example is in good condition for its age and has moderate finish loss across most of its surface, but still retains good function with solid lockup and good timing.
