This Thompson Center percussion rifle appears to be a Hawken model, however it is not marked as such. The barrel is somewhat loose in the stock but otherwise appears to have good mechanical function. The set trigger has good function with a very light pull once set. The barrel although loose has strong rifling and no major corrosion with only moderate wear. The stock has a crack in the but, but otherwise appears sound in the wrist and forend. In all, this rifle has survived many hunts here in New Jersey and will survive many more with a bit of love.
