Victor Sarasqueta was known as possibly the finest gunmaker in Spain during their time. This used O/U shotgun was likely originally built as a trap gun, with its 29″ barrels choked Full/Full and the beavertail forend, but has since been repurposed as a game gun with sling swivels. This fine firearm has also been completely re finished in its recent past, made evident by some rounding on the engravings on the barrel and remnants of pitting that couldn’t be polished out before being re blacked. The receiver also shows light pitting but has been entirely re color case hardened, giving new life and color to the fully engraved receiver. The stocks are of a fine walnut and do not show major wear aside from a loose spot under the left lock plate.
