The Winchester Model 1907 and 1910 were blowback operated semi automatic carbines, designed shortly after the turn of the century. Their usage of moderately powerful centerfire cartridges and compact size immediately made them popular amongst law enforcement and sportsmen alike, with some contracts even going to various military organizations. This example of a 1917 production model 1910 is in good overall condition, It was a known issue amongst these rifles that the stocks and forends were rather fragile and as such there are some repaired cracks visible in the forend. The factory plate has also been replaced with a vented recoil pad, a set of sling swivels has been installed and there are some filled holes where a receiver sight once was.
