The Winchester Model 70 which was long known for its accuracy and reliability was simplified in 1964, this new design included features poached from the Remington 700 like the control round feed with plunger ejector and embossed checkering. This example of a post 64 Model 70 made in 1966 is in nearly perfect condition with only very light handling marks. It is also chambered in the rare .225 Win cartridge.
