This is the classic Winchester model 94 Musket, brought back in 1971 for the NRA centennial celebration. With only 23,000 made this quite a rare item, especially in this condition and with the original factory box. This rifle looks to be brand new, in the same condition it was in when it was bought in 1971. I cannot find a single scratch anywhere on either the metal or the wood, and when I inspected the bore I found it in what appears to be unfired condition. I still haven’t opened the action as I suspect that this rifle wasn’t even cycled by its original owner. In truth the only way to describe this rifle is “As New”
