Start Spring with a bang! Join Longthorne Gunmakers and their new sponsored pro shooter Todd Hitch for a day of shooting at Griffin & Howe.
Launched in England in 2010, Longthorne Gunmakers offers a range of trigger plate guns and completely bespoke true sidelock models to suit all shooting disciplines. Renowned for their globally patented barrel technology, all barrels are fully machined from a billet of high specification steel, which removes the need for glue, welding or solder. The result is a gun with significantly improved handling and reduced felt recoil due to the stronger, lighter, and more rigid construction.
At only 21 years old, Todd Hitch is an accomplished shotgun instructor and pro shooter. Amongst many national and regional titles, last year Todd won the 2023 FITAC Junior World Championship in Hungary, and was the first American to win the Spanish King’s Cup.

9:00AM - Registration and coffee, with a Griffin & Howe gundog demonstration
10:00AM - Ceremonial cannon fire and safety speech
10.15AM - 50 sporting clay shoot with Longthorne shotgun demos available
12:30PM - Lunch
2:00pm - Flurries & Annie Oakley at the trap field, with demonstration by Todd Hitch
4:30pm - Return to Crow’s Nest event center for hors d’oeuvres, dinner,
bourbon tasting and announcement of 50 clay shoot prize winner
$990 per person. Overnight accommodation and rental firearms available for additional fee.
Dress code: No blue jeans or t-shirts please. Jacket and tie required for dinner.
