Handgun Level 1 is a multi-level program designed to teach proper safe handling of a handgun, fundamental shooting techniques, clearing malfunctions, and proper maintenance. Upon completion of the course, each participant should be well versed in safety awareness, have the confidence and ability to safely load, engage targets up to 15 yards, and maintain a properly functioning handgun.
Requirements for Handgun Level 1 Classes:
• Semi-Auto in .380 ACP, 9mm, 40 S&W & 45 ACP recommended (rental handguns are available for $35 subject to availability, but must be reserved in advance)
• Minimum of 500 rounds of ammunition to complete the course (can be purchased in our Showroom)
• Each participant will need a minimum of three magazines, however six is recommended
• Four Magazine pouches
• Baseball cap
• Eye & hearing protection (can be purchased in our Showroom)
$450 per person. Class starts at 8.30am and finishes at 4pm. A box lunch, note taking gear and Nalgene water bottle will be provided.
Must be age 21 or over to register for this course. ALL HANDGUNS AND MAGAZINES MUST COMPLY WITH NEW JERSEY LAWS.
