Whether you’re new to driven bird shoots, or looking to improve your technique, come and join us for a fun and instructional 4 hour driven bird clinic! We can make your next shoot more successful with tailored instruction from Kevin Sterk.
Starting in the classroom, we will cover the fundamentals of driven bird and its requirements, followed by an eye dominance assessment and checking your gun fit to ensure you have the proper dimensions for this shooting discipline.
Moving to the flurry field, we’ll go through the importance of footwork, positions and stance, as well as creating your form and swing so you can successfully connect to targets. Finally, you’ll be able to apply what you’ve learned to driven flurries, and practice your timing, footwork, and newly learned techniques.
Itinerary:
1pm – Registration at Shooting Academy, followed by Classroom session
2pm – Shooting at driven bird flurries
4.30pm – Return to Shooting Academy for Q&A, drinks and hors d'oeuvres
$575 per person (plus applicable NJ sales tax); cartridges, clays, drinks and appetizers are included. 50% deposit to be collected upon booking. Any cancellations must be made more than 48 hours in advance to receive full refund.
Dress code: no blue jeans, t-shirts or open-toed shoes please.
