Wednesday April 17th - Thursday April 18th 2024
John Shima will be running a two-day NSSA Level 1 skeet instructor certification course at Griffin & Howe. This course is designed to give you the ability to teach skeet to novice and beginner shooters, as well as an opportunity to enhance your own shooting fundamentals. You will learn the communication skills, safety requirements, and standardized skeet shooting techniques endorsed by the NSSA.
Class runs from 8.30am – 4.30pm on both days.
Beginning in the classroom, John will review the class materials and cover the theoretical training before moving to the field for practical training and assessment. Lunch will be provided in the Griffin & Howe dining room, followed by a written test to complete the program.
Upon completing the course, attendees will receive an official NSSA Certificate of Accreditation, a cloth patch, a copy of the NSSA Instructor’s Reference Manual and a Guide for Instruction.
Attendees must be 18 or over and have currently or previously been a C class or higher in one gun.

Email these forms to NSSA Chief Instructor Ralph Aaron rpaskeet@yahoo.com and donofrio@griffinhowe.com, stating "I would like to sign up for the Skeet Level 1 Instructor Certification Class at Griffin & Howe at Hudson Farm starting on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024”.
- Ralph will then contact you to take payment. This will be a $440 payment, to cover one year of NSSA membership and the Level 1 course registration fee.
- Please email your proof of membership and registration to donofrio@griffinhowe.com. We will then call you to make a payment of $525 to Griffin & Howe; this covers the instructor fee and lunch.
Applicable sales tax, ammunition and targets not included. Once registered, cancellations cannot be refunded.
Dress code: no blue jeans, t-shirts or open-toed shoes please.
