This is a class for those interested in starting a path down precision rifle sports. Starting in the classroom and moving on to a live fire session, we focus on the basics of precision shooting, the rifle system, and system setup. This program is designed to instill confidence, efficiency and safety awareness - whether you’re a hunter, enthusiast, or hoping to participate in competitions.
While not a class for beginners, this is a great place to start for those who have their own rifle but want to learn about different types of rifles and accessories, bore sighting and zeroing, gathering ballistic data and general basics of marksmanship.
Requirements for Precision Rifle Level 1 Classes:
- Bolt-action or semi-automatic rifle capable of 1 MOA (approximately 1 inch at 100 yards) or better.
- Scope (MOA or MRAD) with subtended reticle (adjustable turrets highly recommended).
- Appropriate scope rings or mount.
- Minimum 160 rounds of match grade ammunition (purchased at the same time if possible).
- Bipod and magazines.
$525 per person (plus applicable NJ sales tax). Class starts at 8.30am and finishes at 4pm. A box lunch, note taking gear and Nalgene water bottle will be provided. 50% deposit to be collected upon booking. Any cancellations must be made more than 48 hours in advance to receive full refund.
Dress code: No blue jeans, t-shirts or open toed shoes please.
Common caliber ammo is available for purchase - please request when registering.
