The Tri State Youth Safety and Shooting Education Foundation is offering half-day introduction to archery programs to grades 5 – 12, and has partnered with Griffin & Howe Archery Academy and the Hudson Farm Foundation to host the programs at their new indoor archery range facility at Hudson Farm. These classes are aimed at improving skills and educational performance among students in grades 5 – 12. Through the discipline of archery, students are learning focus, self-control, patience, and the life lessons required to be successful in the classroom and in life.
This half-day class runs from 1pm - 4pm and will introduce the fundamentals of archery with a focus on safety. Students will start with stance, bow hand-set, string hand-set and pre-draw, before learning how to draw, anchor, aim and follow through, shooting at targets up to 15 yards. All equipment will be provided.
$75 per student. Please bring your payment by cash or check to the class.
