Nighthawk Custom

Founded in Berryville, Arkansas in 1994, Nighthawk Custom was the creation of four talented individuals who were truly passionate about the 1911 platform and wanted to focus on making custom pistols.

Since then, the company has grown from the original four to 95 full-time employees today. The selection of Nighthawk Custom 1911s has also expanded, featuring over 40 unique and custom versions of the 1911 - including versions built on a double stack, high-capacity frame.

Today, Nighthawk gunsmiths have expanded their skillset to include tactical shotguns, custom knives, and even an improved version of the Browning Hi-Power. With its own fully functioning machine shop, Nighthawk produces all its own custom parts on-site to build truly high-end firearms.

One Gun, One Gunsmith

Every Nighthawk Custom handgun is built from start to finish by a single gunsmith, and every part used is fully machined from bar stock billet steel and oversized so it can later be hand fit.

Starting with these raw parts, Nighthawk's gunsmiths handcraft each pistol part by part to create a functional piece of art. All 46 parts are fitted to that particular pistol, making it truly unique.

Once a pistol has been hand built and test-fired, the exterior is prepped by sanding down all machine marks, deburring, smoothing, and hand beveling any 90-degree angles. The gunsmith then uses a personalized metal stamp to mark their initials under the left grip panel of the pistol.

Each Nighthawk Custom pistol comes with a lifetime guarantee spanning the lifetime of the pistol, not the owner – creating an heirloom to be passed down from generation to generation

Nighthawk Custom offers a wide variety of reliable and accurate pistols including both competition and tactical guns, and their products are sought after by military, law enforcement and competitive shooters alike. All pistols in the Nighthawk Custom range are able to be fully customized, from the grip design to the finish and sights.

Nighthawk also offers a model tailored specifically for women; The Lady Hawk model was designed in partnership with legendary pistolsmith Richard Heinie. One of the first 1911 9mm pistols on the market, the Lady Hawk features a commander-size frame thinned down, and an ultra-high cut on the front strap which is paired with a set of thin grips, giving it a thin and comfortable feel to help the shooter get a more secure purchase

Korth Revolvers

Since 2016, Nighthawk Custom has collaborated with Korth-Waffen of Lollar, Germany to offer a line of revolvers. Much like Nighthawk Custom, every Korth revolver is built from start to finish by a single gunsmith, which made their partnership a natural fit. Every part used in Korth builds come from fully machined bar stock, ensuring that only the finest materials are used.

Cosmi Shotguns

The latest partnership from Nighthawk is with the Cosmi SRL shotguns from Ancona, Italy. Nighthawk Custom is proud to be the exclusive importer of all Cosmi shotguns in the USA. Considered some of the world’s finest and most advanced luxury semi-automatic shotguns, each Cosmi contains over 100 hand-fit parts and features Italian design at its best.
