This wonderful Westley Richards boxlock made between 1899 and 1906 is in very good overall condition. The most notable feature of this fine shotgun is the new set of barrels, fitted by the maker in 1982, giving a considerable amount of new life to this fine firearm. The stocks, made of figured walnut are in good condition, with only the faintest sign of a crack appearing behind the upper tang and some mild separation away from the action on the right cheek. The new barrels are of a bright lustrous blue finish with a few scattered scratches from use and the action is covered in tasteful scroll and acanthus leaf engravings
