The Mannlicher-Schönauer sporting rifles started production in 1903 and continued until 1971, known for their quality and incredibly slick actions, they were a sought after rifle for many years. This Model 1950 in .270 Win with half length stock is in good condition for its age. The stock shows moderate handling marks from use and the metal parts show moderate finish wear and some scratches around the front sight hood groove. This rifle has also been fitted with a Pachmayr swing away scope mount and a Weaver K3 scope. The mount is in perfect function, but the scope has a cracked objective lens, the optic appears somewhat dim, but functional.
