GRIFFIN & HOWE SPORTER .270 WIN

The style of Griffin & Howe rifles has changed very little over the years, as we have been providing the same quality of custom hunting guns for over a century now. This rifle is a magnificent example of a pre WW2 G&H Mauser, the styling of which is nearly identical to the rifles still built today. Overall condition is very good, with light to moderate wear on the metal parts and wood. Interestingly the original owner chose to add multiple sighting options to this rifle, including a flip up rear sight on the rib, Lyman peep sight included in the trapdoor and a Unertl Hawk on a windage adjustable side mount. The side mount may in fact be a later addition, as the Unertl Hawk did not enter production until 1950.
