This Inland M1 Carbine dates to 1943 and was produced by the Inland Division of General Motors, one of the major manufacturers of the M1 Carbine during World War II. The M1 Carbine was developed as a lightweight, compact military arm and saw extensive service with U.S. forces during WWII and continued in service well after the war until Vietnam.
This example features several post-war upgrades, including an adjustable rear peep sight, bayonet lug, and rotary safety. These modifications reflect the continued use and updating of M1 Carbines during the post-war period.
The carbine is in good overall condition, with good metal and a good stock showing light wear and some small dings. The bore is clean.
The carbine comes with one magazine, a sling, and a bayonet.
