The Mossberg 44US is a bolt-action .22 LR training rifle produced for the U.S. military from 1943 to 1949. It was designed as an accurate, low-cost training rifle manufactured during WWII. Roughly 57,000 were manufactured during that time frame. This one is in good overall condition for its age. It is missing the factory butt pad and has a few marks in the stock.
