PIOTTI ROUND BODY SLE 20 GAUGE

Piotti is among the most respected names in Italian gunmaking, producing bespoke shotguns in Gardone Val Trompia, Italy, since the mid-20th century. Founded by the Piotti family, the company has earned an international reputation for building best-quality sporting arms that rival the finest British and Continental makers. Every Piotti shotgun is crafted with an emphasis on traditional hand-fitting, exceptional engraving, and elegant styling, resulting in firearms that are as much works of art as they are functional sporting guns.

The Piotti Round Body SLE (Side Lock Ejector) is one of the firm’s most refined offerings. Featuring a graceful rounded action body rather than the sharper lines of a traditional sidelock, the design enhances both handling and aesthetics while showcasing the craftsmanship of the maker. These shotguns are highly regarded for their balance, reliability, and exquisite finishing, making them desirable among collectors and serious sporting shooters alike.

This 20 gauge example remains in very good overall condition. The metal surfaces are exceptionally well preserved, showing only minor signs of handling and use. The stock and forend remain in very good condition with attractive figure and only light handling marks. Overall, the shotgun presents beautifully and retains the fit, finish, and craftsmanship expected from a high-grade Italian sidelock.
