Key improvements include a forward-mounted light sensor that automatically adjusts brightness based on ambient light at the target, not just the shooter, eliminating issues like reticle washout or bloom in changing lighting conditions. The reticle offers user-selectable options: a crisp center dot or a dot-with-ring for faster acquisition.
