The “Zulu” was an inexpensive shotgun made in the late 1800’s by converting either a French Tabatière rifle or a British Snider rifle. This example appears to be made from a Tabatière, overall condition is somewhat poor, which is to be expected as firearms of this type were often abused. While much of the metal parts could be considered fair in condition, the firing pin is either mushroomed or broken, the breech lockup is quite sloppy and the stock is badly cracked.
