Please note: this is an advanced class. Attendees must be at least a C class shooter with 5,000 registered targets, or have the ability to shoot at that level.
If you’re looking to improve your tournament scores, or struggling to improve your game and get to the next level, join our head shotgun instructor Kevin Sterk for a deep dive into winning tactics, mental management and practice strategy.
Beginning with the theoretical, Kevin will instruct you on the importance of aligning self-image and confidence with your skillset, how to consistently maintain mental sharpness and energy over time, and advanced techniques in how to read targets in order to implement proper technique for every shot.
Moving to the sporting clay field, we’ll make sure your gun fits properly and that you’ve secured a proper and consistent mount, review target tactics for different presentations, work on customized chokes and loads for you and your shotgun, and develop an individual practice routine for you to work on your weaknesses.

2pm: Instruction on sporting clay course
4pm: Return to academy for Q&A

- Your tournament shooting bag
$375 per person (plus applicable NJ sales tax). All cartridges and clays included.
Dress code: no blue jeans, t-shirts or open-toed shoes please.
Cancellation Policy: Must contact us to cancel 10 days prior to class to receive full refund, or 72 hours prior to class to receive a 50% refund (minus credit card processing fees and applicable NJ sales tax). Any cancellations made less than 72 hours before the class date cannot be refunded.
