This Rifle, which appears to be a Kar.98AZ manufactured in 1916, has good function to its action and trigger group. The stock and all external metal parts have been coated in a thick layer of lacquer or varnish and the buttstock has been painted with a scene commemorating WW1. The barrel unfortunately looks to have severe corrosion in the bore and may be un usable, the rear sight is also broken in half. Overall, the external condition has been preserved quite well by the varnish, with a new barrel and a sight, this will be a fantastic working rifle with lots of character.
