When I first picked up this Winchester 1894 I thought it was modern production, but its features didn’t match modern guns, when I checked the serial number I realized its age. This rifle was manufactured in 1906, bit it looks in my opinion better than most Winchesters made today. Aside from the odd scratch from its over 110 year life, the bluing is stronger and more vibrant than any blue on a modern gun, the action is still tight and smooth, and the barrel appears to have never been shot. The stocks, although plain are in perfect condition with only the most mild of bruises to show its age.
