The Winchester 42, made from 1933 to 1963, was the first pump action shotgun designed for the .410. It is a light handling and low recoil shotgun that is perfect for recoil sensitive shooters and sub-gauge lovers. This example of the Winchester 42 is in wonderful condition and I suspect it was re finished in its recent past, however it was done quite nicely. The metal condition is almost flawless with only a few mild cosmetic blemishes and the stocks are a handsome set of figured walnut stocks which I suspect to be replacement.
