Sunday September 13th, 8.30am – 1pm
Defensive Handgun Level 1 is a half-day foundational course designed to develop safe, efficient, and repeatable handgun skills from the holster. This course emphasizes safe gun handling, proper holster draw mechanics, shooting fundamentals, and accuracy under control, providing students with the skills required for responsible defensive pistol use.
Instruction focuses on quality repetitions, efficiency of motion, and consistency, not speed for its own sake. Students will learn how to safely draw from the holster, engage targets accurately, manage recoil, and perform basic reloads while maintaining strict safety standards.
This course serves as the entry point into the Defensive Handgun progression and establishes the baseline skills required for Level 2 and beyond.
