FABRICA DE ARMAS M43 8MM

This M43 Mauser rifle was manufactured in 1946 by Fábrica de Armas in Spain. The M43 was developed in the post-Spanish Civil War period and was based on the Mauser 98 action, reflecting Spain’s continued use and adaptation of the Mauser design. Production began in the mid-1940s as Spain sought to standardize and modernize its military small arms.
This example is in fair overall condition, with visible signs of age and use. The action itself consists of a matching receiver and bolt. Most metal components exhibit pitting and wear, while the stock shows noticeable wear. There is a small crack in the stock at the rear of the receiver area and several scratches and dings throughout the stock and on the front barrel retainer. This firearm includes a non-numbers matching bayonet.
