The Griffin & Howe Youth Marksmanship Academy for ages 11–13 is built around a structured, session-by-session progression that develops safe rifle handling, marksmanship fundamentals, and confidence on the firing line. Students begin by establishing strong safety habits and accuracy from stable supported positions, then build consistency through guided drills and coaching. As the course progresses, they are introduced to additional shooting positions and practical applications that reinforce discipline, control, and accountability. The program concludes with a skills-based challenge that allows students to apply what they have learned in a positive, age-appropriate environment.
This comprehensive five-week course is meticulously designed for young shooters using a Remington .223. Space is limited to ensure personalized instruction for every student. All equipment is provided.
The course will run on the following dates from 10am – 12pm:
Saturday September 12th • Saturday September 19th • Saturday September 26th • Saturday October 3rd • Saturday October 10th • Saturday October 17th • Saturday October 24th
$370 per student for the full course (includes tax, all ammunition, rental gear and rifle).
Dress code: no t-shirts, blue jeans or open-toed shoes please.
Cancellation Policy: Must contact us to cancel 10 days prior to first class to receive full refund, or 72 hours prior to first class to receive a 50% refund (minus credit card processing fees and applicable NJ sales tax). Any cancellations made less than 72 hours before the first class date cannot be refunded.
