Hawes Model 1851 Navy .44 caliber percussion revolver, Italian-made reproduction imported by Hawes Firearms Co. of Los Angeles, California. Features a 7.5-inch octagonal barrel and traditional cap-and-ball configuration. Overall condition is good with normal handling and finish wear consistent with age. Mechanically, the revolver has a timing issue and will require repair or adjustment before regular use. Bore and exterior are in good condition. Sold as a collectible black powder revolver in need of mechanical attention.
