This Custom J.P. Sauer in .243 is in good to very good overall condition, with a few light spots of corrosion on the barrel and some light wear to the stock. Overall build quality is typical for the post war era, using a bishop stock, 1917 military action and fluted micro groove barrel. It is notable that the original serial number has been scrubbed and the number on the floor plate has been used as an identifier. The bedding is quite tight, so the bottom of the action has not been checked.
