The Nambu Type A, B and Type 14 pistols were developed as a replacement for the type 26 revolver, based on experience after the First Sino-Japanese War. It used design aspects drawn from contemporary German pistols, such as the C96 Mauser and Luger P08. These pistols saw major usage during the Second Sino-Japanese War and the Second World War. This particular pistol was made in December of 1941 by the Nambu Rifle Manufacturing Company, under the Supervision of Nagoya Arsenal. Overall condition of this pistol is excellent, having survived the war very well. Comes in a US M3 shoulder holster, the leather is old and the lower snap is damaged.
