ROYAL GUN WORKS SXS 12 GAUGE

The Royal Gun Works Side-by-Side 12 Gauge is a traditional exposed-hammer double barrel shotgun from the black powder era. Like many sporting doubles of its time, it features Damascus barrels, a construction method that forged and twisted layers of steel and iron together to create the distinctive patterned finish often associated with antique shotguns.

This example is in fair overall condition and shows significant age and use throughout. The Damascus barrels and metal components exhibit pitting and patina, while the stock and fore-end have dents, scratches, and other handling marks. There is noticeable denting around the muzzle area, and the right barrel has a crack. The firearm is currently non-functioning. The original hammers are included with the gun but are not mounted.
