This sporterised 1903 Springfield rifle is in good mechanical condition, with smooth function to the action and strong rifling in the bore. Both receiver bridges have been drilled for scope mounts and the barrel has also been drilled for a Unertl base. The stock however, has a formerly repaired crack forming behind the tang, and there is a wood screw hidden under the slide of the Lyman receiver sight.
