TOKAREV SVT-40 7.62x54R

The SVT-40 was developed by Fedor Tokarev and adopted by the Soviet Union in 1940 as a modern semi-automatic service rifle. It saw extensive use during World War II, particularly during the early years of the Eastern Front. Izhevsk was one of the primary wartime manufacturers of the SVT-40, making 1941 examples especially representative of the rifle’s early wartime production.
Offered is a 1941 Izhevsk Arsenal SVT-40 in overall very good condition. The rifle comes with a sling, 3.5×21 PU scope, and scope mount. Please note that this is not an original factory sniper variant. The PU scope and mount are included as accessories, and the mount is incomplete and missing several parts.
The stock shows signs of a repair near the left side of the rear receiver area. The bolt carrier and handle shows signs of pitting, with additional pitting present on other metal components. Overall, the rifle presents well for its age and history.
