This Francotte single barrel trap shotgun, Grade 13, was originally purchased from Von Lengerke & Detmold on October 28’th 1910 and is still in very good condition for its age. Gins of this type could be ordered in a number of different configurations and wood grades and this one appears to have a very nice set of figured walnut stocks and a 34 inch full choked barrel. Overall condition is very good as previously stated, with only very light signs of corrosion under and on the sides of the ventilated rib and some light finish wear overall. The beautiful figured walnut stocks show a few minor splits in the grain and one or twi hairline cracks in the head. the stock has also been lengthened with a white spacer and ventilated recoil pad, bringing it to a comfortable 14 ¼” length of pull. To top it off, this firearm comes with a full G&H Research letter, along with the histories of the original owner and some catalogues with the firearm model pictured within.
