SPRINGFIELD CMP M1 GARAND .30-06

General George S. Patton once called the M1 Garand ” The greatest battle implement ever devised”, and very few people can argue with this assessment. This Example of the M1 Garand is one sold through the CMP, and as such is fully functional but has few original parts. The stocks show no cartouches, but are in fantastic condition, showing some nice color to the grain on close inspection. The action is smooth in operation and appears to have many new internals. Headspace and bore erosion have not been measured, but the bore shows strong lands and grooves, with slight rounding to the corners of the rifling. Rifle comes with original cardboard box and accessories from the CMP.
