The Mauser Model HS.c was designed in 1940 as a primary competitor to the Walther Model PP, it was widely purchased by the German Navy, Army and police forces. This example bears the Eagle L stamp on the left side of the trigger guard web, noting that it was made for the German police. The overall condition of this pistol is fair, with much of its original finish lost over the years, however function appears good. The magazine supplied with this pistol is a post war magazine and fitment is not correct, necessitating that the slide be held all of the way back to release the magazine.
