The Deutsche Werke Ortgies’ pistol, was a finely crafted pistol developed in 1916 and was produced between 1919 and 1923. This pistol was the preferred pistol by several German police forces such as the Hamberg police force, the Water Police and the Reich Finance Administration. This example is one of the 7.65mm-32 Auto variants. Overall condition is good to very good, with light to moderate surface wear. The bore condition is fair to good, with some moderate corrosion, likely from corrosive ammunition. The rifling however remains sharp and deep.
