WALTHER PPK .380 ACP

The Walther Model PP is a well made blowback operated double action pistol, developed in the late 1920’s, for police use. The PPK Model was developed shortly after the PP, with the intent of being even more concealable than the original. While most believe the K refers to Kurz (German for “short”) it in fact stands for Polizeipistole Kriminal, referring to the Kriminalamt crime investigation police. This later example, imported by Smith & Wesson is in very good overall condition with some superficial corrosion scattered around the crevices of the pistol. Unfortunately it is also missing its magazine.
