The Colt Python is a legendary revolver, referred to as the “Rolls Royce of Colt revolvers” or even as “The finest production revolver ever made” by the likes of Jeff Cooper. Original production of the handgun extended from 1955 to 2005, with production entering a hiatus until the product line was revived in 2020. This example was made in 1968, showing all of the hallmarks of the original pythons, with excellent fit and finish as well as a very nice feeling action. Overall condition is very good, with light wear and a few scattered spots of corrosion.
