General George S. Patton once called the M1 Garand ” The greatest battle implement ever devised”, and very few people can argue with this assessment. This Example, with a receiver made in 1943, is in very good to excellent overall condition as it appears to be a recent rebuild with no stock cartouches and black parkerization. The barrel installed on this rifle is marked HAR 6-52, with an excellent condition bore. This rifle also comes with a bayonet, sling, 7 en bloc clips and a modern production cleaning kit, in all this is more or less the entire kit you will need for a classic G.I. M1 setup.
