The Colt Python is a legendary revolver, referred to as the “Rolls Royce of Colt revolvers” or even as “The finest production revolver ever made” by the likes of Jeff Cooper. Original production of the handgun extended from 1955 to 2005, with production entering a hiatus until the product line was revived in 2020. This example was made in 1981, with a beautiful mirrored nickel finish. Overall condition is excellent, looking almost like I just left the factory, wit the only signs of use being leftover carbon from shooting light .38 Special ammunition.
