COLT POLICE POSITIVE .38 SPECIAL

The Colt Police Positive is an improved version of the earlier “New Police” model, which included improvements such as the new “Positive lock” internal hammer safety. This example is in fair overall condition, with roughly 30% of the original bluing remaining and all other areas fading to a consistent grey/brown. Internally the timing is somewhat off and the cylinder bolt appears somewhat worn, leaving a some side to side wobble when locked. The grips have also been somewhat chipped near the bottom. Luckily the bore is in good condition, so once the timing is fixed it can become a good shooter.
