Empire Rifle Company was one of the very few American makers who tackled the project of the double square bridge Mauser action, a notably difficult action to manufacture. As a result their rifles were of very high quality and fetched a hefty price tag. This example appears to be one of their “Standard” Models, with its plain barrel, bereft of sights and relying solely on the dovetailed action for optics mounting. Condition of this used rifle is excellent, with practically no wear to be seen and an excellent Swarovski optic installed.
